Biography

I am a serving Police Officer currently working in the Organisational Development and Leadership Faculty at the College of Policing. During my policing career I have carried out a number of specialist operational roles and have worked on secondments with the United Nations in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and with the OSCE in Kosovo. I have also worked on numerous police change and review programmes and consult as a UK police expert for the European Union, most recently working on a twinning project in Serbia and a strategic HR programme in the Ukraine.
I am an Honorary Researcher at Lancaster University Management School and a Visiting Fellow at the Open University Business School.

    MBA Lancaster University

Areas of Research / Professional Expertise

I specialise in areas of Wellbeing, Organisational Behaviour, Change Management, Policing, Culture, Strategy, Leadership and Human Resource Management.

Personal Interests

I have two teenage children who keep me occupied, mainly as a free taxi driver, taking them to various functions, events and party activities. This is not to say I am jealous of their carefree lifestyle. Well, it is actually. But anyway, they keep me busy! I am keen on sport, though these days it is largely as an onlooker.
