Dr. Remhof is currently an Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University in the Philosophy and Religious Studies Department. He specializes in Nineteenth and Twentieth Century European Philosophy and Metaphysics, and his areas of competence include Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, American Pragmatism, and Kant. He is interested in questions concerning the extent to which reality is mind-dependent, primarily as they arise in post-Kantian European Philosophy, but also as a subject of inquiry in its own right. His work has appeared in journals that include European Journal of Philosophy, History of Philosophy Quarterly, Journal of Nietzsche Studies, and Nietzsche-Studien.Education
