Juliette Ttofa


Juliette Ttofa is a specialist educational psychologist with a long-standing interest in the complex issues surrounding trauma, attachment needs and emotional resilience. She specialises in supporting children and young people, their schools and families in understanding and responding to social, emotional and mental health needs through training, therapeutic support, and assessment and consultancy.

Biography

Juliette is a Chartered Educational Psychologist, an HCPC Registered Professional Psychologist, and a Registered Sandplay Therapist with the Association for Sandplay Therapy.  

She specialises in the area of social, emotional and mental health needs, especially developmental trauma, attachment needs and emotional resilience.

Juliette offers training on a range of topics, therapeutic support, and assessment and consultancy, all of which aim to promote resilience and bring about healing. She is also passionate about using the expressive arts in order to support children’s mental health and wellbeing.

Areas of Research / Professional Expertise

    Juliette's areas of particular specialism include: supporting resilience & well being in vulnerable children and young people; the development of parent-infant attachment; supporting young people with attachment needs in schools; self-harm; understanding trauma; supporting refugee children in schools; and the use of therapeutic approaches.

Personal Interests

    Juliette has two children of her own and lives in Stroud.  Juliette enjoys writing, dancing, yoga, the outdoors and travelling.
