Juliette is a Chartered Educational Psychologist (EP), with 15 yearsâ€™ experience working with children and young people, both as a teacher and EP, and more recently Specialist SeniorÂ Educational Psychologist for emotional well being and mental health. Juliette obtained her MEd in PsychologyÂ in Education in 2002 and a furtherÂ MEd in Educational PsychologyÂ in 2004, both with distinctions, from the University of Bristol. Â
Areas of Research / Professional Expertise
As a Specialist SeniorÂ Educational Psychologist, Juliette'sÂ areas of particular specialism include: supporting resilience & well being in vulnerable children and young people;Â promoting resilient thinking in students; the development of parent-infant attachment; supportingÂ young peopleÂ with attachment needs in schools; self-harm; understanding trauma; supporting refugee children in schools;Â andÂ the use of therapeutic approaches.
Juliette is trained to use Sandplay therapy approaches with children andÂ young people. Â She isÂ receiving ongoingÂ training and supervision in Sandplay TherapyÂ from an Accredited Sandplay Therapist andÂ is working to become a Registered Sandplay Therapist with the Sandplay Association herself. Â
