Alessandro Bonanno is Texas State University System Regents’ Professor and Distinguished Professor of Sociology at Sam Houston State University. Dr. Bonanno’s work focuses on the neoliberal globalization of the economy and society.  In particular, he investigates the impact that neoliberal globalization has on democracy, labor relations and the emancipatory options of subordinate groups. Dr. Bonanno is the author of 21 books and numerous publications that appeared in English and other major languages.
