Michael Esfeld

I'm full professor of philosophy of science at the University of Lausanne since 2002. My research is situated in the metaphysics of science in the sense of natural philosophy with a particular focus on the philosophy of physics. My work work is characterized by the development of a methodology for metaphysics that seeks to reanimate natural philosophy in the sense of a research method that involves physics and metaphysics in a seamless manner without giving priority to the one over the other.
