James Nikopoulos

A native of Las Vegas and graduate of UCLA and the CUNY Graduate Center, I currently teach at Nazarbayev University, a new institution in Astana, Kazakhstan that has partnered with the University of Wisconsin, Madison in order to create the country’s first modern research university. My work examines modernist literature and intellectual history, particularly in light of the history and science of emotion.
