Edward Burlton Davies has undertaken research at Lancaster and Manchester Metropolitan Universities. His research interests focus on third wave feminism, womanism, gender variance and gender law. His personal politics and philosophy are guided by feminism and ethics of care. As Project Manager for TransEquality, he provides guidance for clients of Press for Change, a legal and social support organisation for gender transitioning and/or gender variant people, and manages their case files.

    Interests – Reading on the sociology, philosophy and politics of gender issues.  Paintings by artists such as Hopper, Kahlo, Klee and O'Keeffe, and magical realist art.
