For my Bachelor's dissertation I worked on Jerónimo Pizarro's edition of Pessoa's "Livro do Desasocego", while my Master's dissertation focused on the relationship between the Portuguese editorial market and contemporary Angolan authors. I am currently finalising a PhD in Portuguese Studies at the New University of Lisbon and I am working as a research assistant at CHAM, Center fo the Humanities. In the past years, then, I have been conducting research on female rappers from Portugal and Brazil and on the cultural and social constructs that they challenge.

My interests as a researcher cover a wide range of topics, from countercultural practices, youth subcultures and non-canonical arts, to Portuguese and Brazilian literature, music, poetry, history, societies and cultures.
