Researcher at CNPq, holds a degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1992), a master's degree in Sociology from the State University of Campinas (1996) and a doctorate in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2000). Since 2013, he is a professor at the Federal University of Alfenas / MG (Unifal-MG), working in undergraduate courses in Social Sciences, Pedagogy and History and in the Graduate Program in Education. He was a teacher of the Master's Program in Education of the Salesian University Center of São Paulo (UNISAL), between 1998 and 2013. He has experience in Sociology, with emphasis on Sociology of Education and Sociology of Youth, as well as in the area of Movement History. students. Works mainly on the following subjects: youth, student movement, sociology of education, non-formal education, socio-community education, socio-educational practices, etc.
