Adina Tarry is an experienced business and management consultant, AI and O/D strategist, business psychologist, award winning professional executive and business coach, visiting lecturer, author and speaker. A polymath thinker and practitioner, Adina gained cross cultural savvy, due to life and work in six countries with multilingual ability. Adina is a postgraduate Visiting Lecturer with European Higher Education institutions, and a frequent guest on BBC live radio and TV programs.

Biography

Adina is an experienced business and management consultant, AI and O/D strategist, business psychologist, award winning professional coach, visiting lecturer and author.

In her first intentional business career Adina gained expertise in most aspects of global supply chains from procurement to distribution, international logistics, manufacturing, project management and quality management, with leading corporations in fast changing innovative organisations such as IBM, Alcatel, Johnson&Johnson and Bristol Myers Squibb; working as a manager and subject matter specialist, in delivery of products and services as well as roll out of e-commerce solutions and advanced technologies. She has also worked with SMEs in the fashion industry.

In her second career she changed her focus on developing people, cultures and organisations for a better work experience and grater business effectiveness. In recent years Adina has gained additional experience working with start ups and the younger entrepreneurs of the future as a mentor, coach and consultant.

Educated internationally, Adina has lived and worked in France, Germany, USA, Australia, Romania and the UK, is multilingual and cross culturally savvy. Her work and life experience naturally fit her integrative mindset and ability to use cross-functional multi-disciplinary sources of knowledge in her work, drawing from extensive international business experience, applied business psychology, cross cultural dynamics, advancements in science and technology, academic activity and extensive continued personal and professional development.

Adina enjoys change, complexity, innovation and solving problems, in her belief that there are always answers if we know where to look for inspiration and solutions. A member of multiple professional organisations, she dedicates pro-bono time supporting professionalism and professionalization of business related practices. Adina enjoys sharing knowledge and she does as a visiting lecturer, contributor to live radio and TV programs, public speaker and author.

Capturing the zeitgeist of the new millennium, with the impact of technology on the future of  work and careers, and the imperative to reinvent enterprises and find solutions to the global ecological challenges that face people, society and the planet, Adina has recently published “Coaching with careers and AI in mind” and “Design thinking for smaller enterprise development” (Routledge 2018 and 2019) to raise awareness and put forward pragmatic ways to face an uncertain future with hope, resilience and a positive sense of agency.
