Biographyam an historian of Western Europe after 1945, and in particular of economic policies and of European integration. My last book is entitled: "Governing Europe in a Globalizing World. Neoliberalism and Its Alternatives following the 1973 Oil Crisis" (Routledge, 2018). It deals with Western Europe (France, UK, Germany, European Communities) facing the daunting challenge of globalisation in the 1970s-1980s. I have published in various academic journal (Journal of Common Market Studies, Contemporary European History, HES, etc.) and in a couple of newspapers (Le Monde, La Tribune). After several positions in french and foreign universities (postdocs at the EUI and at the LSE), I became full professor at Paris Sorbonne Université in September 2019.
