Bonnie Lynn Slykhuis
I am a Lean/continuous improvement consultant and training. I work with all types of organizations to help them and their employees improve processes, work spaces and systems. I love learning and design training programs that engage, inspire and empower participants. My goal is to make learning fun and relevant. As and educator, trainer, curriculum designer, hypnotist and health coach I strive to help people work better, feel better, think better and believe in the possibilities.
Biography
Bonnie is a Lean/Continuous Improvement Trainer and Consultant for Des Moines Area Community College. She is also a Certified Hypnotist & Hypnosis Instructor for the National Guild of Hypnotists, a published author, and an Independent Certified Health Coach. Her passion is educating people to think better, work better, feel better, and be better!As a Lean consultant/trainer she designs user-friendly curriculum, trains trainers, and leads process improvement activities throughout the country for all types of organizations including city/state governments, manufacturing, service organizations, higher education, and K-12 education in addition to DMACC's six campuses. She's conducted over 1300 training sessions in Lean and Leadership programs for over 150 organizations.
Her lean knowledge and drive to educate others on process improvement stems from 15 years in manufacturing working for Corporations such as Pella, 3M and Maytag and more than 20 years as a consultant, trainer and educator.
Her passion is to help people to improve what they do, how they do it, how they feel (mentally and physically), and help them reach their full potential. Hence her work as a Lean practitioner, hypnotist, author and health coach.
