Assistant Teaching Professor
Carnegie Mellon University

I am an educator in the field of information sciences and deeply interested in the way higher education sector has adopted technology in teaching and learning. My perspective on technology-mediated education focuses on how we need to assimilate technology into the traditional teaching practice without compromising education's academic values and principles. We need to first understand how we teach and then design technology to suit its needs rather than the other way around.
