Pham Loi Vu is a professor, doctor of mathematics, and a leading Vietnamese expert in inverse problems and their applications. He has authored 50 papers published in prominent journals, including Inverse Problems (Q1), Acta Applicandae Mathematicae (Q2), Journal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics (Q2), and others.

    Main research activities: in functional analysis, differential equations, equations of mathematical physics, spectral theory, theory of Solitons and applied mathematics.

    • Initial value problems and Initial-boundary value problems for nonlinear integrable  equations,  
    • Integration of  nonlinear integrable  equations by the inverse scattering method,                        
    • Inverse scattering and Theory of Solitons,
    • Inverse problems.
