Rebecca Pozzi (Ph.D., University of California, Davis) is Assistant Professor of Spanish Language and Linguistics at California State University, Monterey Bay, where she coordinates Lower Division Spanish, including the Heritage Language Program, and teaches courses in Spanish language, linguistics, and applied linguistics. Her research focuses on second and heritage language development, sociolinguistics, study abroad, and language pedagogy.

Biography
Rebecca Pozzi is an applied linguist interested in second and heritage language development, sociolinguistics, study abroad, language pedagogy, computer assisted language learning, and language policy. Her publications include articles in journals such as Studies in Second Language Acquisition and Hispania as well as chapters in edited volumes from Routledge and Multilingual Matters. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family (including her two young children) in California, Ohio, and Argentina.Education
