Biography

An enthusiastic spatial planner, trained geographer, & featured young author, he wants to put his thoughts into action to create cutting-edge solutions that save the environment, improve living standards, and promote quality of life. He describes himself as a sensitive planner, "I believe in working at the nexus of environment, economic opportunity, and human well-being, and convinced in the planning of- resilient, sustainable, justifiable, happy & livable cities ideating city advocacy- city for all".

He has about five years of experience in the Urban and Regional Planning discipline. During his initial career, he was based out at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi; Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur; IIT-Guwahati; and Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur etc. to perform his demesne for various plans preparation of variegated scales. The nature of the work was largely on preparing the Master Plan, Regional Plan, and Zonal Development Plans. Additionally, he has also worked on the Zonal Master Plan of Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ), and the National Rurban Mission (NRuM). Through his experiences, he has acquired profound knowledge in conducting versatile surveying, collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data. He experienced immense joy as an Assistant Professor (visiting) at Jagannath University, Jaipur in the Department of Urban Planning.

Mr. Kumar earned two postgraduate degrees, one in Urban and Regional Planning from the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts (JNAFA) University, Hyderabad, and another in Geography from Kurukshetra University. He has also completed a yearlong course in Remote Sensing and GIS. He is an accredited associate life member of "The Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI), New Delhi.

Mr. Kumar is a highly organized and self-esteemed person with pragmatic approaches. Teamwork, liveliness, dedication, multi-tasking, lifelong learning & enthusiasm are his strengths. In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket, listening to music, visiting new places, and learning across disciplines. He loves ardent reading and writing research articles and is interested in boosting his dexterities and intuitions to bring innovative, and outstanding results in planning and development.

Variations in residential rental values are a result of preferences of tenants i.e. locational and neighborhood attributes. In the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area, the impact of location and neighbourhood attributes on rental housing shows the spatial variations in residential rental values. These preferable attributes can be defined in the form of Physical, Social, and Economic importance. Rents are fixed depending on the availability of the aforementioned attributes.
