Robert has qualified as an expert in firearms, among other subjects, in the State of Florida’s 20th Judicial Circuit, Federal Middle District of Florida, andFederal Western District of Texas. Robert is a certified firearm instructor and completed numerous armorer courses during his career. Robert was a crime scene investigator for 20 years and, during this time, earned the Certified Crime Scene Investigator rating through the International Association for Identification (on the first try).


Robert has presented relevant talks of contemporary interest before peer and trade groups, in the university setting, and to the general public.

    Firearm and ammunition behavior-isms in the real world.  Firearm and ammunition identification and providing definitive answers to firearm and ammunition related questions in connection to controversies that are presented. Crime scene analysis and reconstruction with an emphasis on shooting scenes.  Law enforcement or civilian use of lethal force.  Researching and developing enhanced and decisive solutions to "active shooter" scenarios.

Personal Interests

    New-urbanism and community centric self sustainment practices, amateur horology.
