Biography

Professor Singh is Managing Director of InnovatioCuris (IC) located in India.  This organisation brings extensive healthcare expertise and applies global innovative models and management processes by leveraging IT to deliver healthcare at an optimum cost.

Professor Singh is a world-renowned figure in healthcare. Trained as a physician, based in India, he is Adjunct Professor of the World Health Innovation Network, Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Canada. He served in the Indian Armed Forces Medical Services for 37 years from 1968-2005 in various national and international assignments.  He has been to 38 countries on various assignments including heading delegations for India. He attained the rank of Surgeon Rear Admiral in the Indian Navy up to 2005. Previously, he was Adjunct Professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) Zaragoza and Adjunct Research Professor-International Health Innovation Center, Ivey School of Business, University of Ontario, Canada.

Professor Singh has been a consultant for the National Disaster Management Authority and has formulated national guidelines for disaster on mass management of casualties. He was President, and is now a Fellow of the Academy of Hospital Administration, Chairman, Health Care Division of Quality Council of India and on the Board of the Indian Society of Health Professionals and Founding Director of the International Institute of Health Management Research, New Delhi. He was Awarded the Distinguished Services Medal by the President of India and commendation by the Government of Zambia. He also served as Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the United Nations.

Authored a book ‘Innovations in Healthcare Management: Cost Effective and Sustainable Solutions’ with National & International authors published in USA in 2015 and another book “Planning and Designing Healthcare Facilities:  Lean, Innovative and Evidence Based" releasing in Oct 2017 by same publisher, and has launched global magazine in healthcare innovation called InnoHealth in 2016 as part of IC.
