BiographyClaudia St. John is president of Affinity HR Group, a national human resources consulting firm that provides all facets of HR including compliance, recruiting, compensation, employee engagement and training. Claudia’s area of expertise is strategic planning, employee engagement, organizational development, recruitment and executive career management.
As a consultant and frequent speaker, she has worked with hundreds of companies and given countless presentations and workshops on topics such as employee engagement, challenges in managing a multi-generational workforce, how to avoid common management mistakes, and techniques for building trust and collaboration. Her weekly HR Minute e-bulletin, monthly articles and frequent blogs are followed by thousands of business leaders nationwide.
Claudia holds an undergraduate degree in employee benefits and labor relations from The American University and a master’s degree in business and public administration from The George Washington University. She holds the highest level of certification from the Society for Human Resource Management and lives and works in New York.
She holds two HR certifications, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst, a Certified Professional Values Analyst, a Certified Professional TriMetrix HD Analyst, and a Certified Professional EQ Analyst.
