Biography

Mónica Lourenço is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, where she is conducting a project on the internationalization of teacher education curricula for global citizenship. She has a PhD in Didactics and Teacher Education, a Master’s in Linguistics and Teaching, and a degree in Modern Languages and Literature (English and German). Her main research interests are plurilingualism, teacher education, internationalization of the curriculum, and global citizenship education. Peer esteem indicators include keynote speaker invitations, organization of international conferences and seminars, editorship of international journals, and membership of journal scientific committees in the area of education
