This article surveys Singapore and Vietnam's bilateral naval cooperation with India, examining it from the macroscopic level that is couched within the ASEAN context. It also seeks to identify, at the microscopic level, differences in the approaches of each of these bilateral arrangements, examining them from the perspectives of naval training and exercises; military-technical collaboration; and maintenance of naval presence in the region.
