FEATURED AUTHOR
Timothy R Tangherlini
I am a professor in the Scandinavian Section at UCLA. I have also served as director of the Center for Folklore at the University of Copenhagen. My most recent book, “Danish Folktales, Legends, and Other Stories” (2013) includes the Danish Folklore Nexus, a rich, immersive environment for the study of folk narrative (http://etkspace.scandinavian.ucla.edu/danishfolklore). My current work focuses on the use of mapping to help represent latent aspects of complex cultural archival data.
