Ed Maguire

Ed Maguire is a Professor in the Department of Justice, Law & Criminology at American University in Washington DC. Professor Maguire’s work focuses primarily on policing, violent crime, and research methods. He has written or edited three books and more than 60 articles and chapters on various themes related to policing, crime, criminal justice, organization theory, and social science methodology. He tries to ward off the perils of old age by practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu as often as possible
