Message from the Editors
Welcome to the first Routledge Architecture newsletter of 2021! After a painful start to the year, things are starting to feel more hopeful as vaccine programmes roll out across the world and hopefully we can all look forward to some better times ahead.
This month we want to highlight our new range of professional practice books, which cover everything from starting your first job, to moving beyond architecture and into new forms of practice and everything in between. These authors have worked through the most challenging of circumstances to distil wisdom and inspiration, and we very much hope there is something for everyone in this collection.
We are also thinking about (and missing!) the conferences we would usually be attending. These are such an important part of our year for a variety of reasons, and we miss seeing and connecting with you all in-person. Below, we’ve included virtual booths for IDEC and ACSA which showcase the books we would be displaying. In April, we are also looking forward to our virtual sessions at the ARCC conference on how to get published. As ever, we would be delighted to hear from anyone with a book idea—our details can be found at the side of this page. So, thank you for reading and we wish everyone a hopeful Spring.
