Karsten Friis is Senior Adviser and Head of the Research Group on Security and Defence at Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), Oslo, Norway.
Jens Ringsmose is an Associate Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Political Science and Public Management, University of Southern Denmark.
