These wonderful essays demonstrate the wide range and impressive depth of his expertise and passion. From Africa to the United States, from history to the future, from academic writing to journalistic troublemaking, Marable argues that the possibility of better worlds is not only necessary, but also contained in the struggles we pursue.”
