Biography
Samantha Noll is Associate Professor and Associate Director of the School of Politics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs at Washington State University, where she also serves as Director of Undergraduate Education. She is the author of Ethical Omnivores: Better Eating for Everyone (Routledge, 2025). Her research sits at the intersection of agricultural ethics, environmental justice, and the ethics of emerging technologies, and she has conducted field research with farming and farmworker communities across the Pacific Northwest.
Sherri Lynn Conklin is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Washington State University and Director of the Special Interest Group on AI Ethics and Trustworthiness for the Summit on AI Institute Leadership. Her research focuses on moral responsibility, the ethics of AI design, and the responsibility gap in autonomous systems.
