"This timely and thought-provoking volume provides an essential compass for navigating the rapidly evolving intersection between Artificial Intelligence and Responsible Management Education. With its clear structure and diverse contributions—from policy frameworks to practical applications in marketing and auditing—it demonstrates how AI can be a powerful ally in advancing sustainability and educational innovation.
Yet, as we explore AI's vast potential, we must not lose sight of the responsibility that comes with its use. The European Union’s AI Act reminds us that accountability no longer ends with developers. Companies and institutions that apply AI tools are equally responsible for data quality, transparency, and ethical governance. These are not mere technical requirements—they are cornerstones of responsible leadership in the 21st century.
Moreover, initiatives like UNESCO’s Open Data Science in Times of Crisis underline a growing urgency: data ownership and control are not only technical debates but matters of justice and empowerment. As educators and leaders, we are called to prepare future managers not only to use AI but to question, shape, and govern it—guided by human values.
This book makes a valuable contribution toward that goal. May it inspire its readers to engage not only with AI’s possibilities, but also with the responsibilities that come with its power."
Prof. Dr. habil. Lisa Fröhlich, Owner and Founder - ISPIRA Think Tank for Sustainable Supply Chains, PRME Advisory Board member and DACH Chapter Head, Global Ambassador Chair AOM MED Division
"This book is essential reading for educators and preparing future leaders to adapt with integrity, curiosity, and a deep sense of responsibility in an AI-shaped world."
