'Improving children's' emotional wellbeing is vital to enabling them to access learning and being able to recognise and talk about feeling is an important part of this. The Blob series provide a vehicle for this and as school is the place where most children will be supported in this it seems an obvious title to add to the series.

'I would see teachers and teaching assistants using the visual images to encourage pupils to talk about their feelings. They could also be used to help pupils overcome fears around the topics listed. They could support in dealing with inappropriate behaviour by pupils who find it difficult to control anger and conform to school boundaries.' — Nicola Gwilym, School Mentor
