'Identity is relevant to everyone, and this new edition of Identity in Adolescence does a wonderful job highlighting its complexity in an accessible way. The updated chapters incorporate a large amount of new state-of-the-art research. What is more, the authors make complex ideas and concepts of identity relatable and understandable by referencing novels, memoirs, and quotes from research. The new chapter on navigating cultures because of immigration is timely and will resonate with people living through such experiences.
