Biography

Dr. Ketan Kotecha received his Doctorate degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay in the year 2003. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Algorithms, Machine Learning, and Higher Order Thinking skills are his core areas of research interest. He is presently working as the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Director of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University). He is also the Head of Symbiosis Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (SCAAI) & CEO of Symbiosis Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Dr. Satish Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and in charge of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Lab at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune India. He completed his master’s degree (MTech-Tool Engineering) in 2013 and Doctoral degree (PhD.) in 2020 from K Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka, India. He has over 8 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry. He has his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master’s degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. His research interests are Smart manufacturing, Robotics and Automation, material science, heat treatment, composite materials, and composite coating technology. He has authored more than 25 international/national journal and conferences publications. Dr. R Suresh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, India. He did his Dr Master degree (M.Tech) and Doctoral degree (PhD) 2002 and 2013 from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. He has 24 years of experience in teaching research and industries. His areas of research interests include Composites, Surface coating, Additive manufacturing, Hard materials machining, numerical modelling, and experimental analysis of advanced materials.
