Biography

Bobby Hajjaj is an academic and public-policy thinker with seventeen years of teaching, research, and institutional engagement in higher education in Bangladesh. His work sits at the intersection of education reform, governance, and political economy, and he has written and published on issues of democratic accountability, institutional development, and public policy in Bangladesh, alongside policy briefs and public commentary aimed at bridging scholarship and practice. Beyond academia, he has been actively involved in political organizing and civic engagement for more than a decade and a half, working with diverse stakeholder groups across the country and advocating for accountable, citizen-centered governance. He currently serves as the State Minister for Primary and Mass Education of Bangladesh.
