Biography
Neal Dreamson is a senior lecturer in the School of Curriculum, Faculty of Education, Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Through his interdisciplinary research and engagement in cultural/religious studies, indigenous education, philosophy, design and technology education, and ICT in education, he has articulated trans-cultural/-disciplinary methodologies to multi-cultural/-religious interactions and technological integration. Recently, he has extensively researched in metaphysical aspects of cross-cultures/-religions and the digital divide in Learning Management Systems, and developed philosophical understandings of and pedagogical approaches to value interactions.
‘Neal Dreamson provides a profound exploration of culture and its potential to embody, support and shape the educative process and in doing so moves beyond the positioning of cultures as palettes from which to take isolated experiences. Dreamson’s model promotes the transmogrification of cultural knowing and being as intrinsic to education as human endeavour.’
Gary Thomas, Associate Professor, the Queensland University of Technology, Australia
