Biography

Chen Xiaoming is Professor and the Dean of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University, Beijing, China. He specializes in literary criticism of modern and contemporary Chinese literature and postmodern literary theory.

Zhang Xiaoqin is Professor at Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou, China. Her research focuses on ideological trends in literature and the works of major writers in modern China.
