`... The book is intended for new teachers but has a lot to offer the teacher trainer. Each chapter would make an excellent starter for pre-service or in-service teacher discussion groups. (Yvonne Garson's) book stimulates discussion and thought. What else could a teacher ask for?' Alan Grihault, Science Education Newsletter
