Biography

Avdhesh Jha is Professor and Dean, Faculty of Education, with a doctorate in Education and a postgraduate degree in Mathematics and Education and 22 years of teaching experience at graduation and postgraduation level. He is also the Principal at Waymade College of Education at The Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. With a good command of over six languages and an interest in method teaching, philosophy, psychology, research methodology and peace education, the author accredits himself to have prepared, designed and introduced several new subjects in the curriculum of the B.Ed and M.Ed programmes at various universities. With a list of publications and presentations at national and international avenues, the author supervised more than 50 postgraduate research scholars along with 10 research scholars having been awarded the doctoral degree. Dr Jha is an author, poet and critic and has published several books with national and international publishers.
