Biography

Jeanette Sakel is Professor of Language and Linguistics at the University of the West of England. Her main research interests include second language acquisition, language contact, linguistic typology, fieldwork, Chinese and native South American languages. She is also the author of A Grammar of Mosetén (2004) and Linguistic Fieldwork: A Student Guide (2012, with Daniel Everett).
