Biography

Hanne Tjersland is a PhD Candidate in International Studies in Peace, Conflict and Development at Jaume I University, Castelló de la Plana, Spain. She focuses on embodied and arts-based methods for peace and uses especially Open Floor dance and movement practice and drama/theatre as her teaching tools.

Paula Ditzel Facci serves as Assistant Professor of Peacebuilding at the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, USA. She has taught at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and in Brazil and in Germany. Her publications include Dancing Conflicts, Unfolding Peaces (2020) and Practitioner’s Toolkit: Gender in Peace and Conflict (2020).
