Biography

Sabrina DeTurk, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in the Honors College at the University of Maine, Orono, Maine, U.S.A. Her research interests include contemporary Middle Eastern art as well as the interplay between the Middle East and Venice in Renaissance art and architecture. Her work frequently considers issues of gender and social identity in visual culture.
