About the Author

Vassilka Tabakova has been working in distance and e-Learning, focused on Medical Physics and other health-related disciplines, since 1993 and is a passionate advocate for the subject, giving presentations on the subject at international forums. Since 2011, Dr Tabakova has worked for the MSc programmes in Clinical Sciences (Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering) at Kings College London, UK, where she has successfully introduced pioneering pilot e-Learning platforms, based on Moodle, which currently manage over 120 students. These programmes are amongst the leaders in the subject, both nationally and internationally.
