About our Authors

James C. Kaufman is a Professor of Educational Psychology at the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. He has written or edited more than 50 books, most about creativity, including Creativity Across Domains.

Alane Jordan Starko retired as a professor of educational psychology at Eastern Michigan University. She is the author or Creativity in the Classroom: School of Curious Delight, which focuses on how research and theory about creativity can inform teaching practice.

David S. Sholl is the Director of the Transformational Decarbonization Initiative at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech. He is currently a Strategic Policy Advisor for DOE's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations and the author of Success and Creativity in Scientific Research.
