Considering a T&F book for your course? Simply search for the book you're interested in on our website, then click on the Request Inspection Copy link on that book's page to make your request. You will be asked to provide some basic information about yourself and the course you are teaching.
Depending on the textbook, the title you're interested in may be available in print, e-Inspection, or both. If you decide to adopt any of our titles you've reviewed in e-Inspection as the core text for your course, you may be eligible for a desk copy to support your teaching.

These terms and conditions ("
Terms") are entered into by you ("You" "or "Your") and Taylor & Francis (a trading division of Informa UK Limited), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 01072954 whose registered office is at 5 Howick Place, London, SW1P 1WG ("T&F").
T&F provides, at its sole discretion, select books and eBooks published by T&F on an "as available" basis to qualified instructors and lecturers at academic institutions for consideration as a course textbook that could be recommended for student purchase ("
Inspection Copy Service"; each book (whether hardcopy or digital copy) an "Inspection Copy").
The Inspection Copy request must be priced at £80 or under (or the local currency equivalent) on T&F's CRC Press and Routledge websites. For the avoidance of doubt, the format of the Inspection Copy shall be decided by T&F. T&F may limit the amount of Inspection Copies you receive and this is at its sole discretion.
The Inspection Copy Service is only available to qualified instructors and lecturers at recognised academic institutions (each a "
Instructor") who wish to review the Inspection Copy for consideration on a module they teach. T&F may verify this before access is granted to the Inspection Copy Service.
By completing and submitting the Inspection Copy form to T&F, You warrant that You are a teaching academic or lecturer and that You will provide feedback on the suitability of the Inspection Copy for the module you are considering it for. Upon receipt of Your completed Inspection Copy form, T&F shall, in its sole discretion, determine whether You qualify as a teaching academic and consider the module that you propose to evaluate the Inspection Copy for, then determine whether you are eligible to receive the Inspection Copy. T&F may request additional information from You to verify. T&F's decision shall be final and no additional correspondence will be entered into.
If accepted to the Inspection Copy Service, You agree that you shall respond to the service emails asking for your feedback on whether the Inspection Copy was suitable for recommending on your module.
You agree that the Inspection Copy is personal to You and Your organisation. You shall not, as a principal obligation, copy, sell, give or lend the Inspection Copy to any third parties. You must notify T&F immediately of any unauthorised sharing, copying or forwarding of the Inspection Copy that comes to Your attention.
T&F may terminate and discontinue the Inspection Copy Service at any time if in T&F's opinion, You have failed to comply with these Terms.
The Inspection Copy Service is supplied by T&F as a free resource. All Inspection Copies are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and T&F accepts no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever sustained by You as a result of using or relying on the Inspection Copy Service.
The Inspection Copies are protected by international copyright laws, database rights and other intellectual property rights. T&F, its affiliates or its licensees are the owners of these rights. All product, company and institutional names and logos which may be contained within the Inspection Copy are the trade marks, service marks or trading names of their respective owners. All rights not specifically granted to You under these Terms are reserved.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your IT system meets all relevant technical specifications necessary to receive any digital version of the Inspection Copy, if applicable. T&F does not warrant that the digital version of the Inspection Copy, if applicable, will be free from viruses and/or other code that has contaminating or destructive properties, and not liable for any harm caused.
T&F reserves the right, at any time, to withdraw all or part of the Inspection Copy service, at its sole discretion.
INDEMNIFICATION & LIABILITY
You agree to indemnify and hold T&F harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees made by any third party as a result of any infringement of T&F or any third party's rights (including intellectual property rights) arising from Your use and/or misuse of the Inspection Copy and any breach of these Terms by You.
To the extent permitted by law, T&F exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to the Inspection Copy Service or Inspection Copy content, whether express or implied.
T&F will not be liable to any You for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:
- use of, or inability to use, the Inspection Copy Service; or
- use of or reliance on any content in the Inspection Copy.
T&F will not be liable for:
- loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
- business interruption;
- loss of anticipated savings;
- loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or
- any indirect or consequential loss or damage
T&F will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack, or other technologically harmful material that may infect Your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to Your use of the Inspection Copy Service, digital version of the Inspection Copy content, or on any website linked to it.
To the extent permitted by law, if T&F is liable to You under these Terms for any reason, T&F's liability shall be limited to £100.
T&F may collect personal information from You, such as full name, country, job title, occupation, company information, e-mail address and telephone number. T&F use the details that you shared when requesting an Inspection Copy to create an account for you.
T&F would also like to use your e-mail address to send you offers and information about related products and services that we think will be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving these messages at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any marketing email. You can find more information in our
You agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their formation. For these purposes, each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
T&F make no warranty or guarantee that the Inspection Copy Service or Inspection Copy comply with laws other than those of England.
You accept that these Terms represent the entire understanding between You and T&F concerning the Inspection Copy Service.
