This powerful resource equips educators to lead with authenticity, build a strong and purposeful brand, and ultimately drive meaningful success for students and communities alike.”
Dr. Charles R. Ford Jr., Superintendent, Monmouth County Vocational School District"This is the book I wish I had years ago when I first stepped into a leadership role in design. While I found general leadership resources, few addressed the specific challenges faced by designers and design educators. Leadership by Design fills that gap with insight, empathy, and a deep understanding of our discipline. What sets this book apart is its centering on values and well-being—essential pillars for principled, human-centered leadership. It recognizes leadership as a design challenge itself: intentional, creative, and responsive."
Meaghan Dee, professor, Virginia Tech“A seminal and groundbreaking study that is the blended result of professional experience and meticulous research…an essential and unreservedly recommended addition to personal, professional, and college/university library Higher Education Administration collections and supplemental curriculum studies lists.”
